assistance to Veterans and families in
need
with
emergency situations within the Chapters means. |
American
Widow Project |
This dedicated organization provides support for Widows and
Widowers whose spouses died as a result of wounds received in combat. MOPH
1919 assists them by providing our resources to support and establish
benefits available to them.

Carlson
Mobility |
MOPH 1919 identifies “Veterans”, to receive a mobility track chair
and connects them with donors and Carlson Mobility. Several local veterans have been recipients of this generous
donation to enhance their activities. |
Fallen Soldiers Project |
The American Fallen Soldiers Project is a non-profit patriotic venture
of the artist Phil Taylor. He prepares and presents portraits to the
families of fallen soldiers.

Freedom Flyers |
Freedom Flyers has two World War II war-birds in its fleet. They are the
P51-Mustang
and the
Navy AT-6. These
war-birds are flown at air show and aviation
events around the country and provides World War II veterans with a once
in a lifetime opportunity to fly in these legendary aircraft. MOPH Chapter
1919 identifies WWII veterans for these local flights.

Georgetown
Field of Honor |
The Georgetown Rotary Club has an exclusive contract with the
National Field of Honor covering Central Texas to sponsor an annual Field
of Honor event during the Veterans' Day week. MOPH 1919 has an affiliate
agreement with the Rotary Club to sell these flags. This is a very
impressive display and program, try to attend. |
Purple Heart Golf Tournament |
MOPH 1919 with very much support from the Mustang Heritage
Foundation sponsors a golf tournament at River Place Country Club in
September. This promises to be a very enjoyable and beneficial
event.

Home Depot Veteran Support |
MOPH 1919 identifies “Veterans”, to receive a home fix up from
Home Depot. Several local veterans have been recipients of this generous
donation of time and materials. |
Honor
Flight Austin |
MOPH 1919 established (DBA) Honor Flight Austin to fund
flights for local WWII Veterans to Washington, D. C., in order for them to
visit their Memorials.

The Mustang Heritage Foundation hosts the Mustang Mentors for
Veterans. |
Mustang Mentors for Veterans |
MOPH 1919 with very much support from the Mustang Mentors for
Veterans sponsors a Purple Heart Golf Tournament at River Place Country Club
in
September. This promises to be a very enjoyable and beneficial
event.

White & Bike |
MOPH 1919 identifies “Little Heroes”, children of "Wounded
Warriors" between the ages of 4 through 12 to receive brand new bicycles
from this outstanding organization. |
Trinity
Oaks |
Trinity Oaks uses hunting, fishing, and outdoor
activities to give back and make a difference in the lives of others.
Trinity Oaks offers these opportunities to help veterans adapt to life
back home through activities spending time outdoors.

Wheelers for the Wounded |
Wheelers for the Wounded Texas is a wonderful non-profit
organization that Chapter 1919 partners with to provide wounded warriors
access to their off-road adventures. Wheelers also provides toys for the
hundreds of children attending the Purple Santa Christmas program at Ft.
Hood sponsored jointly by the Wheelers and Chapter 1919.
